Türkiye’de İhracatın İthalatı Karşılama Oranı Üzerine Ampirik Bir Analiz

Abstract

Türkiye’nin 91 ana ticaret ortağı ülkeyle 1994-2012 yılları arasındaki ikili dış ticaret verilerine dayanarak, ihracatın ithalatı karşılama oranının ticaret ortaklarının döviz kuruna ve Gayri Safi Yurtiçi Hasılalarına olan duyarlılığı panel regresyon yöntemiyle araştırılmıştır. Farklı spesifikasyonlarla elde edilen sonuçlara göre, Türkiye’nin ticaret ortaklarının Gayri Safi Yurtiçi Hasılasındaki yüzde 1 oranında bir büyüme karşısında Türkiye’nin karşılama oranı yüzde 1,6-1,7 oranında artmaktadır. Türkiye’nin ticaret ortaklarının reel (efektif) kurlarındaki yüzde 1 oranında bir değerlenme karşısında ise Türkiye’nin karşılama oranlarında yüzde 0,94-1,45 oranında bir artış görülmektedir. Elde edilen sonuçların, Türkiye üzerine yapılmış dış ticaret çalışmalarında bulunan kur ve gelir esnekliği tahminleri ile uyumlu olduğu gözlenmektedir.
