Veri zarflama analizini kullanarak Türkiye’deki devlet üniversitelerinin etkinliğinin ölçümü

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Veri Zarflama Analizi (VZA) yaklaşımı kullanılarak 2004-2005 Eğitim-Öğretim döneminde Türkiye’deki devlet üniversitelerinin etkinliklerinin ölçülmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla girdi olarak lisans öğrencisi, yüksek lisans ve doktora öğrencisi sayısı, öğretim üyesi ve öğretim elamanı sayısı kullanılırken çıktı olarak ise lisans mezunları, yüksek lisans ve doktora mezunları ve öğretim üyesi başına yayın sayısı kullanılmıştır. Daha sonra etkin olmayan üniversitelerin etkin sınıra ulaşmaları için neler yapması gerektiği duyarlılık analizi ile araştırılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçları üniversitelerin genel olarak yüksek teknik etkinlik ve yüksek ölçek etkinliği altında faaliyette bulunduklarını göstermektedir.
