Doğrudan Yabancı Yatırımların Ekonomik Etkisi

Abstract

Son çeyrek yüzyılda toplam sermaye akımları içindeki payı önemli ölçüde artan doğrudan yabancı yatırımlar, özellikle gelişmekte olan ülkeler için önemli bir dış finansman kaynağı oluşturmaktadır. Daha fazla yabancı yatırım için ülkeler arasında yaşanan teşvik rekabeti, ülke kaynaklarının artan ölçüde yabancılara aktarılmasına neden olurken aynı zamanda ülke lehine olumlu etkiler de yaratmaktadır. Ancak daha fazla doğrudan yatırımın ülkeye gelmesi her zaman ekonomik büyümenin garantisi olmamaktadır. Ülkenin gelişmiş düzeyi, doğrudan yabancı yatırımların yarattığı pozitif dışsallıkların içselleştirilmesinde belirleyici öneme sahiptir.
