Türkiye’ye yabancı emekli göçü: Didim’in yeni sakinleri ve bölgeye ekonomik etkileri

Abstract

Gelişmiş Avrupa ülkelerinin demografik yapısında yaşlı nüfusun önemli oranda artış gösterdiği gözlemlenmektedir. Son yıllarda, uzayan insan ömrü, artan ekonomik refah, kolay ve ucuzlaşan ulaşım imkanları, bu yaşlı nüfus arasında uluslararası emekli göçü adı verilen yeni bir olgunun ortaya çıkmasına neden olmuştur. Bu çalışma, Türkiye için oldukça yeni bir olgu olan yabancı göçünü, Aydın ilinin Didim ilçesine yerleşen İngilizler örneği bağlamında analiz etmektedir. Bu çalışmada, anket yöntemi ile Didim`de emlak satın alarak ilçeye yerleşen İngilizler`in geliş amaçları, beklentileri, demografik yapıları ve yerel ekonomiye potansiyel etkileri incelenmiştir
