20. Yüzyıl Türkiyesi İçin Büyüme Ve Bölüşüm Endeksleri

Abstract

Ayrıntılı veri olmadığı için, 20. Yüzyıl Türkiye’sinde gelir dağılımı konusunda dönemler-arası karşılaştırmalar yapmak mümkün değildir. Bu kısa makalede, önce Türkiye’nin 1820’den bu yana büyüme performansını genel olarak değerlendirmek amacıyla, (1990 SAGP ile düzeltilmiş ABD doları olarak) kişi başına milli gelir tahminleri verilmektedir. Makalede, daha sonra, 1923’den beri Türkiye’nin gelir dağılımı, kolayca ulaşılabilen toplam verilerden göstergeler oluşturarak, şu ayrıma göre incelenmektedir: a) Tarım içi dağılım; b) Tarım ve tarım dışı sektörler arasındaki farklılıklar; c) Tarım dışı sektör içinde dağılım. II. Dünya Savaşı sonrasından 1980’lere kadar süren ithal-ikameci sanayileşme döneminde tarım dışı sektör içinde ve iki sektör arasındaki gelir dengesizliklerinin en düşük düzeyde olduğu görülmektedir.
