Sosyo-Ekonomik Kalkınmanın Ölçümü:Uluslar Arası Bir Rşılaştırma

Abstract

Kalkınma literatüründe, ülkelerin refah düzeyleri arasındaki farkın nereden kaynaklandığı ve kalkınmanın ölçütlerinin neler olduğu araştırılmaktadır. Bu makalede, yaşamın birçok alanında insani kapasitelerin genişletilmesi ve insan yaşamının güçlendirilmesine dayalı yeni bir ölçüm denenmiştir. Sosyo-Ekonomik Endeks adı verilen bu yeni ndeks, UNDP’nin İnsani Kalkınma Endeksine benzer biçimde hesaplanmıştır; ancak kalkınma performansının değerlendirilmesinde daha kapsamlı bir analize olanak ermektedir. Sosyo-Ekonomik Endeksin verdiği detaylar, karar vericiler ve politika analizleri için ışık tutabilecektir.
