İstanbul Menkul Kıymet Borsasında Düşük Fiyat

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, İMKB’de düşük fiyatlı hisse senedi etkisinin varlığı araştırılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre ABD borsalarının aksine İMKB’de yüksek fiyatlı hisse senetlerinin yatırımcılara anormal getiri sağladığı belirlenmiştir. Bu çalışmada aynı zamanda yüksek piyasa değerlerine sahip hisse senetlerinin de yatırımcılara yüksek getiri sağladığı belirlenmiş ve firma büyüklüğü ile yüksek fiyatlı hisse senedi etkisinin arasındaki ilişki araştırılmıştır. Sonuç itibari ile yüksek fiyatlı hisse senetleri aynı zamanda büyük firma değerine sahip firmalardan oluşmuş olmasına rağmen yüksek fiyatlı hisse senedi etkisinin firma büyüklüğü etkisinden bağımsız olduğu anlaşılmıştır.
