Modern Dönem Türkiye Toplumunda Asabiyet ve Sosyal Sermaye İlişkisi

Abstract

Türkiye'nin modernleşme serüveni iki yüzyılı aşıyor olsa da değerler, kurumlar ve pratikler düşünüldüğünde toplumsal hayat hâlâ geleneksel kalıpları bir şekilde ayakta tutmaktadır. Bu çalışma Türkiye'nin toplumsal yapısına dair bu durumun İbn Haldun'un önemli kavramlarından biri olan 'asabiyet teorisi' ve Fukuyama, Coleman, Putnam ve Bourdieu gibi isimlerin sosyal bilimler alanında sıkça dile getirdiği kavramlarından biri olan 'sosyal sermaye' üzerinden değerlendirilebileceğini iddia eder. Modern hayat tarzı toplum içindeki bireyi atomize ederek yalnızlaştırırken sosyal sermaye bireyler arası dayanışma ve iş birliğini yeniden kazanmanın yeni bir formu olarak ortaya çıkmıştır. Benzer şekilde, asabiyet toplum merkezli bir sosyal atmosferin devamlılığını sağlamaktadır.
