İbn Haldun'un İlm-i Ümranında Bilimsel Ruha Karşı Mistik Ruhun Yeri

Abstract

Modernist ve pozitivist görüş İbn Haldun'un toplumların yükselişi ve düşüşü teorisinin sadece tümevarımsal gözleme dayandığını varsayar. İbn Haldun'un görüşünde ise, sosyal alemi anlamak, toplumların yükseliş ve düşüşünün rasyonel sebeplerinin ampirik bilgisinden fazlasını ve vahyin gerçeklerini gerektirir. Bu bağlamda yapmış olduğu açıklamalar sadece insanlık tarihindeki ani mekanizmaya işaret eder ve Kur'an'ın mesajına da aykırı değildir. Felsefi ve dini bilimlerin düalizmden bile daha önemli olan yönü İbn Haldun'un İlm-i Ümran'ının canlandırılmasındaki üçlü mimarisidir. O, İlm-i Ümran'ı diğer alemlerden ayırmadan sosyal varoluşun orta alemine doğru yapmaktadır. İbn Haldun'un bilimi kuşatıcıdır, çünkü o vahiyden belirleyici sezgiler içerir. İbn Haldun ne bir rasyonalist görüşe ne de yörecilik bir dini görüşe sahiptir. Onunkisi insan varlığının paradokslarını yakalamak için arayan ve başarılı bir şekilde yöneten geniş bir vizyondur. Bu makale, bahsedilen çapraz okumalar bağlamında, İbn Haldun adına yapılmış genel geçer söylemler ile kendisine ait metinlerdeki entelektüel pasajlar ile yapılmış karşılaştırmalı bir inceleme gayretidir.
