Abstract

TÜrkiye'de son yıllarda gözlenen spiritÜel arayışların karmaşık yapısını anlamak amacıyla yÜrÜtÜlen bu araştırma TÜbitak 1001 programı tarafından desteklenmiştir. 2018-2020 yıllarında gerçekleşen bu araştırmadan yoğun bir Üretim gerçekleştirilmiştir. Dr. öğretim Üyesi Kurtuluş Cengiz, Doç. Dr. önder KÜçÜkkural ve Hande GÜr tarafından yÜrÜtÜlen bu araştırmada, çeşitli çalışmalar yapılmıştır (GÜr, 2020; Mashael, t.y.). "TÜrkiye'de SpiritÜel Arayışlar" adlı bu çalışma ile nitel-nicel metotları kullanılarak hazırlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada; 6 ilden 84 katılımcı ile mÜlakat, 528 kişi ile anket çalışması gerçekleştirilmiştir (s. 29-30). Bu katılımcıların deneyimlerini, motivasyonlarını, maneviyat Üzerine kişisel dÜşÜncelerini, arayışlarının bireysel, fiziksel olmayan pratiklerinde okumaları mesela mesnevi, Osho gibi pratik olarak gördÜkleri veriler aktarılmıştır. Bu yöntemle birlikte araştırmayı geniş bir nÜfusa yayarak bulguların genellenebilirliğini artırmak amaçlanmıştır. Sufi, sema törenleri ve yoga inzivaları gibi ruhani toplantılar çerçevesinde sağlam veri toplama yöntemleri ile gerçek bulgulara ulaşılması gÜçlendirilmiş, konuya geniş perspektif sunulmuştur. Bu sayede doğrudan gözlem ile elde ettikleri veriler çerçevesinde araştırmaya sağlam bir temel oluşturmuşlardır.
