Abstract

INTERVIEWEE PROFILE: Jack M. Sparn is Vice President of Data Center Operations and Technical Services at Time Customer Service in Tampa, Florida, a subsidiary of Time Inc., which is part of Time Warner, Inc. His organization of over 118 professionals and managers is responsible for providing computer Operations, Office Systems, Telecommunications, and Data Processing Services for most of the Time Inc. businesses worldwide. Prior to joining TCS, Mr. Sparn, with over 20 years of MIS experience, had worked for First Data Resources, an American Express subsidiary, and Citicorp Diners Club, both of which concentrated on large scale credit card processing services worldwide. Prior to Citicorp, he worked for 10 years in various MIS management positions with Storage Technology.
