Probation system in Romania between legal provisions and reality

Abstract

After a brief presentation of the legislative framework governing the activity of the probation system in Romania, author emphasizes some representative aspects of the impact of the new criminal legislation at the level of the criminal probation services in the country, with a special regard on those from Bucharest and Ilfov.
