Financial instruments used against foreign-exchange risk

Abstract

This article focuses on over- the- counter instruments such as foreign currency forward contract and foreign exchange option. These two derivates are detailed.It is presented also a practical example to better understand both advantages and, specially, the risks of using financial instruments. Specific terms are presented in both languages (Romanian and English).
