The Migration Implications On Labour Markets From The Eu Member States

Abstract

The article analyses the phenomenon of free movement of labour force in the EU, focusing on the free movement of labor force in Romania, compared to other EU states. Last but not least, are presented the phenomenon of emigration and the shortage of labour force from some Member States and are identified a series of policies to stimulate the return to the country of origin of the labour force left to work abroad. In conclusion, the strengths and weaknesses of migration were identified, as well as the opportunities and threats of this phenomenon on the labour market in the European Union based on the SWOT analysis.
