Brexit Situation After The House Of Commons’ Votes From April And European Council’S Decision

Abstract

On April 1 British Parliament resumed four of the eight motions voted on March 27, but without any success, but nevertheless it decided on April 3 the extension of Brexit with only one vote. Talks between the Torries and Labors have not led to concrete results. On April 9th a new bill adopted by the House of Commons forced the government to seek an extension of Article 50, thus extending the negotiations with the European Union after April 12, 2019, to avoid a Brexit without a deal. The prime minister May urged European leaders for an extension of Brexit until June 30, but the European Council gave the deadline of October 31, provided European elections will be organized.
