Abstract

The main objective of this analysis is to identify the specific features of India's cooperation relations with EU partners in the current period and the role they can play in the broader EU-India strategic partnership, as shown by recent meetings and statements. New determinants of EU-India bilateral relations have emerged in recent years, including: India's fear of China's rise and its ambition to gain a major role in the Indo-Pacific region, but also the need for partnerships in the reform process of the Indian economy, these factors being the catalysts of cooperation with the EU as an entity and EU member states.
