Quantitative analysis of drivers affecting green supply chain management in Rajasthan SMEs

Abstract

The escalating deterioration of the environment is a major concern for business organisations today. Green is a strategy implemented to improve the environmental sustainability and with supply chains evolving dynamically towards competitive advantage. A green supply chain aim at confining the waste within the industrial system so as to conserve energy and prevent the dissipations of harmful materials into the environment. The main objectives of this paper are quantitave analysis of drivers affect green supply chain management in small and medium enterprises in Rajasthan, India. The research proposes a model that demonstrates the relationship between green SCM and various drivers in small and medium enterprises. An empirical study was conducted through survey method in small and medium enterprises in Rajasthan, India and analysed using SPSS. Mean T-test, correlation and regression analysis develops and used to establish the affect of drivers on green supply chain management. The study established that the drivers has positively affected of green supply chain management.
