Abstract

This paper aims to study the readiness of automobile manufacturing industry in adoption of blockchain technology through multi-grade fuzzy approach. A case organisation is selected, and a conceptual model is developed by identifying 67 attributes, 10 criteria and 4 enablers. The framework helps in categorising the important attributes and lists the important attributes that need attention. Through this study, it is found that the case organisation has to focus on eighteen attributes which include data security, consensus of the stakeholders, immutability of data, data recovery being a few of them. The developed framework will help in continuous assessment of any organisation for blockchain adoption.
