Abstract

This article discusses behavioural intelligence (BI) applied to decision-making through a conceptual proposal focused on supply chain (SC) performance indicators. The research uses theory related to organisational behaviour to support the understanding of BI and build the conceptual model focused on SC performance indicators. The article illustrates how BI can be adopted for the training, development, and conditioning of managers to direct their decisions, as well as helping to fill gaps related to the still limited knowledge regarding how BI can influence SC performance indicators. Fewer studies have sought to identify the importance of BI, in generating value in the SC. This work illustrates the application of BI as a professional preparation tool focused on SC performance. Applying BI has a direct and essential relationship with professionals' quality of life.
