Perceived circular Supply Chain 4.0 and switching intention: evidence from refurbished products

Abstract

The perceived circular Supply Chain 4.0 and switching intention of refurbished smartphone-focused cameras from customers' point of view are rarely discussed in the literature. This study examines the effect of perceived affordable price and perceived ease of use of refurbished products obtained from perceived circular Supply Chain 4.0 on switching intention. This study also included convenience as an intervening variable in the research model. The approach used in this study is quantitative, and survey data was obtained from 160 respondents. The results showed that perceived affordable price and perceived ease of use significantly affect the switching intention of refurbished smartphone-focused cameras. The convenience of getting a refurbished smartphone-focused camera mediates the relationship between perceived affordable price and perceived ease of use, significantly affecting the switching intention of refurbished smartphone-focused cameras. Manufacturing firms must focus on marketing intelligence to frequently monitor the quality and price of brand-new and refurbished products and ensure convenient product distribution.
