Abstract

New product development in manufacturing is discussed in terms of economic growth. Methods which reduce economical risks in product development and product planning are also discussed. Conclusions obtained are that in this competitive age, frequent development of products will have to be more accelerated, and targeted towards the development of high value-added products which give consumers mental satisfaction. The methods outlined in this article for developing improved products with decreased risks are applied to simulated real situations to cope with the competition in the markets.
