Abstract

The purpose of this study is to discover the relationships between organisational culture, knowledge management and performance variables using structural equation modelling (SEM). The research is applied and uses a descriptive survey method. The statistical population consists of the managers and staff of firms residing in Fars Science and Technology Park in the winter of 2015. Data analysis was done using SPSS and SmartPLS software. Research data were analysed using the partial least square method, one of the methods of SEM. Results show that organisational culture affects knowledge management and performance, and also that knowledge management in turn affects the performance of knowledge-based companies. The findings lead to a better understanding of marketing mechanisms, which is an acceptable base for organisational performance.
