Abstract

Dynamic wireless charging makes it possible to charge electric vehicles without contact while in motion from the transmitters buried under the road (segments and inverters). Our contribution to this work is to study the problem of locating wireless charging infrastructure on a long highway road between origin O and destination S with heterogeneous battery vehicles. Each type of vehicle requires its allocation of segments in the road because of the heterogeneity of batteries, which increases the number of recharge transmitters on the highway; for this purpose, we search to ensure the trip of each type of vehicle without remaining out of load, by the minimum number of segments and inverters on the road. We propose to model the problem as a mathematical problem and validate it with a CPLEX optimiser for limited instances. In the last step of this work, we will solve the problem using a multi-agent metaheuristic.
