Pandemics always have their disastrous impact on global economy. COVID-19 has paralysed the world economy by obstructing supply chain harmony. Considering the food supply chain (SC) which is one of the major sectors of economy, our paper scrutinises the impact of COVID-19 on the different factors (import uncertainty, change of diet, panic buying and long lockdown) that can affect the food products' supply chain of Bangladesh. Numerous scholarly studies were completed on COVID-19 topic. However, no paper tested the impact of COVID-19 on food SC of Bangladesh. This paper will concentrate on the mentioned research gap. In this paper, 250 retailers of food products were surveyed to collect primary data. For analysing the data, the study used SPSS and AMOS. From the analysis, we find all the mentioned factors have direct impact on food SC of Bangladesh. The study can help the concerned business persons in making effective decisions.
