Abstract

A large number of tools and techniques to improve the quality of products assess environmental impacts and manage the risks to health and safety at work, are available. It is interesting to characterise them in order to better understand their relationship and their relevance in different situations. Focusing on the level of use of these tools by responsible persons and target the most mentioned that seem most appropriate to different situations. In this paper, we conduct an empirical study to examine the level of use of quality, safety and environment management tools and techniques. To do this we use the responses of animators and representatives of QSE management systems in 34 Moroccan companies at least certified according to ISO 9001. After a diagnosis of the most serious, common and repetitive health and safety risks of all the companies surveyed, we discuss the action plans that are available to the Moroccan companies to evaluate the different health and safety problems at work. Finally we integrate all QSE tools and techniques encountered in a continuous improvement PDCA.
