Abstract

This two-part paper presents modelling approaches and its applications for a leagile supply chain sustenance. While part-I earlier reported details of the modelling aspect, part-II now describes the application of the sustenance model, and will help to indicate the state of the supply chain. This research further uses the index to improve leagility by benchmarking it along with relational as well as sensitivity analysis to the approach. The sustenance model is applied on three distinct types of supply chains viz., lean, agile and leagile through 11 case applications of supply chain. A comparative analysis of leagility index with other known lean/agile indexes will help to prove the superiority of the index using suitable and various mathematical tools.
