Abstract

The sustainable lighting standard specifies requirements related to energy efficiency aspects. This study aims to examine whether SNI IEC 60969:2009 as a requirement for testing Compact Fluorescent Lamp (CFL) performance can be used sustainably for reducing energy consumption in the building sector to support the implementation of sustainable procurement according to ISO 20400:2017.After improving energy efficiency under IEC Guide 118:2017, the study results show that the power factor values that can be selected as the requirements for performance testing of SNI IEC 60969:2009 are in the range of 0.55-0.95. With the value range of this power factor, in theory, producers and consumers' energy consumption to turn on 15 W CFL will decrease in minimum per year by 41,304,183 kWh and will reduce in maximum per year by 247,825,099 kWh.
