Abstract

“Every idea has to become broad till it covers the whole of this world” (Vivekananda, 2014). This paper connects the wisdom of Swami Vivekananda on spiritual intelligence with the wisdom of great creative thinkers. This paper's objective is to empirically study the affect of spiritual intelligence on creativity and apply the spiritual principles to envisage a creative world. This paper delineates the paradigm shift that takes place in human minds when pursuing spiritual intelligence. The force field analysis of spiritual intelligence by bringing out the driving and restraining forces is formed based on teachings of Swami Vivekananda to bring the concept of spiritual intelligence practical and near to reality rather than rhetoric. A structured questionnaire was used for data collection and the data analysis was done using SPSS software. Correlation test was conducted, and a significant and positive correlation was found to exist between creativity and spiritual intelligence. To test the impact of the dimensions of spiritual intelligence on creativity and its dimensions, regression analysis was carried out.
