Economic determinants of the crisis phenomena in modern Russia: an endogenous and exogenous approach

The research is aimed at identifying the economic determinants of the crisis phenomena of modern Russia in terms of endogenous and exogenous approaches. The authors proved that at each stage of the development of society, the economic crisis acquires unique properties that are characteristic of this particular period of time and the established social way of society life, the political regime and state administration. The authors confirmed three research hypotheses: 1) infrastructure and price fluctuations in the most important sectors of the economy can lead to crisis consequences regardless of the dynamics of changes; 2) the current economic situation in Russia has all the signs of an overproduction crisis; 3) the development of foreign trade under the influence of pandemic and epidemiological risks is a determining factor that strengthens the crisis trends in the Russian economy.
