Interference of artificial intelligence, analytics and automation in performance management system

Abstract

This research paper aims to explore the role, importance and use of analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence (AAA) in performance management system (PMS), so as to make PMS error free and bias free and also it overcomes all possible limitations of traditional PMS. The paper develops a conceptual framework of application of AAA in PMS, so as to make it bias free and to know how organisations are benefited by the adoption of AAA dimension in PMS. Adoption of AAA in PMS helps business leaders to make complex human capital process easier. The paper proposes the use of HR AAA which helps to reduce subjective bias that occurs in the PMS and improves accuracy and fairness of the performance appraisal process. Additionally, it positively effects on employees improved perceived satisfaction towards fair PMS.
