Abstract

A new form of inter-firm transaction named customised component transaction with insufficient trust is investigated in this study. Trust is important in customised component transaction. But firms often face situations in which they are unable to build trustful relationships in today's global supply chain. By the case study of the liquid crystal display (LCD) panel industry, we explore the features, problems and solutions for such trustless transactions.
