Abstract
La inestabilidad del mercado, causada por la mnovacron y creciente intensidad y diversidad competitiva, ha supuesto que las empresas basen sus estrategias a largo plazo en sus capacidades distintivas. En este ámbito el objetivo del presente trabajo es analizar la contribución del aprendizaje a la obtención de ventajas competitivas. En primer lugar, se realiza una revisión de la literatura relativa al aprendizaje organizativo, con la intención de clarificar sus características distintivas. Y en segundo lugar, se analiza la relación existente entre el aprendizaje organizativo y los resultados empresariales. Para ello, se propone un modelo causal, contrastado a partir de una muestra de empresas españolas mediante la técnica de ecuaciones estructurales, que establece que el aprendizaje organizativo contribuye positivamente a la satisfacción de clientes y empleados y a los resultados económico-financieros. / Unstable market conditions caused by innovation and increasing intensity and diversity of cornpetition have resulted in organizational capabilities rather than served markets becoming the primary basis upon which firrns establish their long-term strategies. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to analyze the contribution of learning to the achievernent of competitive advantages. First of all, the literature on organizational learning is reviewed the aim being lo clarify its distinctive characteristics. Secondly, the relationship between organization learning and business performance is analyzed. In order to do that, a causal model contrasted from a sample of Spanish companies by rneans of structural equations is proposed. This model establishes that organizational Iearning contributes positively both to customer and ernployee satisfaction and to economiclfinancial results.
