Abstract

Companies now face the influence of a modified environment that drives them to reinforce structural mechanisms that allow it to withstand these conditions. Thus, it is important to identify and study sustainable competitive advantages such as innovation. This research is developed within the most relevant unit of study for the economy, MSMEs, where the objective is to identify whether intrapreneurship practices increase the level of innovation. The research approach is quantitative. The type of research is both descriptive and correlational and the data used are primary data. Results show that higher levels of intra-entrepreneurship imply higher level of innovation. A Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.3370 is obtained, which allows us to approve the H1 of the investigation confirming this relationship is positive and significant
