Labor Skills Of Potential Graduates From The Administrative Science Faculty According To Students And Employers Competencias Laborales De Potenciales A Egresar De La Facultad De Ciencias Administrativas Segun Estudiantes Y Empleadores

Achieving the pertinence of university education is a challenge. It requires students to develop the necessary labor skills to respond to the demands of an increasingly changing and sophisticated job market. Thus, universities and companies should become an indivisible binomial. Mexican universities are not alien to this challenge and some face it by creating work experience programs with companies. However, no applied strategy gives good fruits if the results are not studied. This research investigates the perception of both students and employers on labor competencies applied in a work experience program. A descriptive quantitative-based research was conducted. The study was conducted at a public University in the northwest of Mexico. A survey of 243 potential students graduates and 80 employers was applied. The samples were stratified according to the number of potential students to graduate from six degrees in the area of Administrative Sciences. Descriptive statistics were applied to the analysis of results. Some conclusions were established based on the results obtained
