Using Information Technologies for the Promotion of Small Business: Foreign Experience

Abstract

The aim of the article is an analysis of international experience of using information and communication technologies in small business on the example of Israel to implement the latter in the activities of small enterprises of national agricultural sphere. The importance of information technologies and informational support of enterprise activity is revealed, especially when the modern world development is characterized by economics globalization processes, informational changes, increased competition and World Wide Web. It is showed on the example of Israel how a small business functions, beginning with development of aim, strategy, product selection, analysis of competitors and calculation of breakeven point. A comparative analysis between Israeli and national income has been performed, which taxes and social contributions payable. It is recommended to our country to use progressive scale of personal income tax and single social contribution. It is suggested to domestic small business to create own Web stores and it is described in detail, which set of Web tools can be used for this aim. This will allow small business to promote its products at minimal expenses and to expand a circle of its clients and therefore to increase profitability of its activity.
