Überblick über die Beiträge des Schwerpunktheftes "Neue Arbeitsplätze - was steckt dahinter?"

Abstract

Eines der zentralen Anliegen im Zusammenhang mit der Lösung von Arbeitsmarktproblemen ist die Schaffung neuer Arbeitsplätze. Mit dem Schwerpunktheft wird der Versuch unternommen, das Umfeld einer möglichen positiven Beschäftigungsentwicklung auszuleuchten. So wird die Rolle von Innovationen, technischen Entwicklungen, Unternehmensgründungen, des qualifikatorischen und demografischen Strukturwandels und anderer im Ausland erfolgreicher Faktoren thematisiert. Neben der Analyse werden auch politische Ansatzpunkte behandelt. Dazu gehören die Möglichkeiten einer nachfrageorientierten Wirtschaftspolitik, die Wirksamkeit der Arbeitsmarktpolitik, Chancen eines Niedriglohnsektors für wettbewerbsschwächere Arbeitnehmer sowie die Regional- und Strukturpolitik.
