Abstract

Aufgabe des Workshops, über den berichtet wird, war es, Hintergründe, Ursachen und Begleitumstände der "Geheimnisse" des Erfolgs anderer Länder in der Beschäftigungspolitik zu erhellen, um nach Möglichkeit etwas für die Lösung der deutschen Arbeitsmarktprobleme zu lernen und Konsequenzen zu ziehen. Die Themen der Beiträge lauten: 1. Was ist eine beschäftigungspolitischer Erfolg? - Eine Einführung zum Workshop 2. Mehr Beschäftigung und weniger Arbeitslosigkeit - Amerika, hast du es besser? 3. Großbritannien: Die marktwirtschaftliche Strategie 4. Der niederländische Weg: Durch Konsens zum Erfolg 5. Ein dänisches "Beschäftigungswunder"? 6. Beschäftigungspolitisch erfolgreiche Länder - Was steckt dahinter? 7. Beschäftigungspolitisch erfolgreiche Länder - Konsequenzen für Deutschland 8. Wirtschafts- und arbeitsmarktpolitische Schlußfolgerungen für Deutschland - Ein Resümee der Diskussionsbeiträge. (IAB2)
