Alternative Projekte: Realistische Alternativen zur Arbeitslosigkeit?

Abstract

"In einer Pilotstudie bei 83 alternativökonomischen Projekten in den Räumen Hannover und Nürnberg wurde zum einen erhoben, woraus sich die 'alternative Qualität' eines Projekts überhaupt ergibt: Wichtigste Merkmale des alternativen Weltbildes sind Selbstorganisation der Arbeit, Berücksichtigung ökologischer bzw. sozialer Interessen, Ablehnung von Hierarchie und Spezialistentum bei der Arbeit, Zugehörigkeit zu 'neuen sozialen Bewegungen'; die Ablehnung des Staates und seiner Organe sowie die Aufhebung der Trennung von Arbeit und Freizeit zählen überraschenderweise nicht zu den konstitutiven Merkmalen alternativer Ideologie. Zum zweiten wurde die quantitative Bedeutung der Szene hochgerechnet: Eine spürbare Entlastung des gesamten Arbeitsmarktes kann die alternative Arbeit nicht leisten; sie bedeutet aber eine wichtige Übergangs- und Qualifikationschance für bestimmte Gruppen von Hochschulabgängern aus den Sozial- und Geisteswissenschaften. Das Einkommensniveau der alternativ Tätigen ist relativ niedrig, ihr Bildungsniveau dagegen relativ hoch." (Autorenreferat)
