Zur Aussagefaehigkeit der amtlichen Statistik der Technikerschulen

Abstract

"Die fortschreitende Automatisierung und Mechanisierung in Industrie, Handwerk, Landwirtschaft, Verwaltung und Verkehr hat zu einer wachsenden Bedeutung der Technikerberufe, deren Qualifikationsniveau zwischen dem des Facharbeiters und dem des graduierten Ingenieurs liegt, gefuehrt. Von der amtlichen Statistik wurde dieser Entwicklung dadurch Rechnung getragen, dass sie die Statistik der Technikerschulen aus der Fachschulstatistik herausloeste und als eigenstaendige Statistik nachwies. In dem vorliegenden Aufsatz werden der Informationswert und die Aussagemoeglichkeit dieser Statistik aufgezeigt. Das Hauptproblem liegt in dem Nachweis von Abgrenzungs-, Definitions-, Informations-, Daten- und Vergleichbarkeitsmaengeln sowie der Notwendigkeit einer generellen Neuordnung der statistischen Erhebungsverfahren, die es gestatten, benoetigte Daten schneller zu erheben, aufzubereiten, zu veroeffentlichen und auszuwerten."
