Συγκριτικη Μελετη Μεγαλων Διοργανωσεων Μηχανοκινητου Αθλητισμου Και Η Συμβολη Τουσ Στην Αναπτυξη Του Τουρισμου

Abstract

Η παρούσα εργασία, εξετάζει την περίπτωση της διοργάνωσης mega events μηχανοκίνητου αθλητισμού, στο πλαίσιο των στατιστικών δεδομένων για τον τουρισμό, των χωρών Σιγκαπούρη - Τουρκία - Μαλαισία και Κορέα σε σχέση με την Ελλάδα σε ορίζοντα 15ετίας. Η επιλογή των χωρών αυτών έγινε με κριτήριο, πέραν των ιδιαίτερων μορφολογικών και τουριστικών χαρακτηριστικών τους και με το γεγονός ότι οι χώρες αυτές πλην της Ελλάδας πρόσφατα ανέλαβαν διεξαγωγή τέτοιων μεγάλων γεγονότων μηχανοκίνητου αθλητισμού. Τα ερωτήματα τα οποία ανακύπτουν από μία τέτοια σύγκριση και συσχέτιση, είναι το εάν η διοργάνωση μεγάλων γεγονότων μηχανοκίνητου αθλητισμού συμβάλει στην ανάπτυξη του τουρισμού στην φιλοξενούσα χώρα και εάν συμβαίνει αυτό, ποιος είναι ο χρονικός ορίζοντας συμβολής τους και με ποιους τρόπους συμβάλει σε αυτήν. Η συζήτηση των ανωτέρω στατιστικών δεδομένων, έγινε με βάση την βιβλιογραφία (Angus et al, 2007, Τσάρτας, Π., κ.α., 2010, Βαρβαρέσσος, 2009, Fisher and Wakefield, 1998, Hunt and Bashaw, 1999, Μητούλα, 2006, Weed "
