Abstract

Ένα από τα μεγαλύτερα προβλήματα στον σχεδιασμό και στην υλοποίηση της οικονομικής πολιτικής είναι η δημιουργία δημοσίων ελλειμμάτων που συνήθως οφείλεται κυρίως στην μείωση της παραγωγής αλλά και στην κακή διαχείριση των οικονομικών. Η αύξηση των δημοσίων ελλειμμάτων οδηγεί αντίστοιχα στην αύξηση των χρεών μιας χώρας και ακολούθως τα μεγάλα χρέη οδηγούν συχνά στην μερική ή πλήρη αδυναμία πληρωμών (χρεοκοπία). Η οικονομική πολιτική, που υλοποιείται τόσο μέσα από το πλαίσιο της δημοσιονομικής πολιτικής όσο και της νομισματικής πολιτικής, είναι οι βασικοί προσδιοριστικοί παράγοντες που καθορίζουν την ανταγωνιστικότητα και την ανάπτυξη για μια χώρα. Το συγκεκριμένο άρθρο επιχειρεί να εξετάσει και αναλύσει την εξέλιξη του δημοσίου χρέους σε σχέση με την αναπτυξιακή διαδικασία και την αξιοποίηση του ανθρώπινου δυναμικού για την ΕΕ με έμφαση στην ελληνική οικονομία.
