Abstract

Η εργασία αυτή αποτελεί συγκριτική ανάλυση των πολιτικών για την προσχολική αγωγή και εκπαίδευση, οι οποίες προωθούνται από την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση με σκοπό τη βελτίωση της ποιότητας των εθνικών συστημάτων και τη μέγιστη δυνατή εναρμόνισή τους, σε σχέση με τις πολιτικές που υφίστανται στη χώρα μας. Η μελέτη στηρίζεται σε γραπτά τεκμήρια, μελέτες, στατιστικά στοιχεία, ψηφίσματα και υλικά ομάδων εργασίας. Συμπεραίνεται ότι το πεδίο της αγωγής και εκπαίδευσης των παιδιών προσχολικής ηλικίας στην Ελλάδα εμφανίζεται ικανοποιητικό ως προς τα ευρωπαϊκά δεδομένα σε ότι αφορά στα επαγγελματικά προσόντα των εργαζομένων, ενώ αποκλίνει αρνητικά σε θέματα υποδομών, προσβασιμότητας και στελέχωσης.
