Abstract

Η παρούσα εργασία έχει ως στόχο τη χάραξη στρατηγικής για τη μελλοντική ανάπτυξη του αγροτικού τομέα στη χώρα μας. Για το σκοπό αυτό, στο πρώτο μέρος εξετάζει το πλαίσιο ανάπτυξης του αγροτικού τομέα σήμερα, όπως αυτό διαμορφώνεται από τις εξελίξεις σειράς παραγόντων του εξωτερικού περιβάλλοντος, π.χ. Κοινή Αγροτική Πολιτική (ΚΑΠ), εξελίξεις των διατροφικών προτύπων, τεχνολογία, κ.ά. Στο δεύτερο μέρος εμβαθύνει στη μελέτη της υπάρχουσας κατάστασης και της δυναμικής του τομέα στη χώρα μας, επιχειρώντας να αναδείξει τα συγκριτικά του πλεονεκτήματα και τις αδυναμίες του. Τέλος, στο τρίτο μέρος, παρουσιάζονται σενάρια βιώσιμης μελλοντικής ανάπτυξης του τομέα, καθώς και στρατηγικές και κατευθύνσεις πολιτικής για την υλοποίησή τους, στη βάση των οποίων αντιμετωπίζονται/αξιοποιούνται οι προκλήσεις που απορρέουν από το εσωτερικό και εξωτερικό περιβάλλον, έτσι ώστε ο τομέας να αποτελέσει βασικό πυλώνα για την ανάπτυξη των περιφερειών της χώρας.
