Abstract

El uso agrícola del agua en Grecia asciende al 86% del total. De esta cantidad, el 96% se utiliza para el riego. Se entiende que la aplicación de medidas de gestión adecuadas maximizará los beneficios del agua utilizada para el riego. Además, el rendimiento de los sistemas de riego debería aumentarse si se realizan cambios en los parámetros del diseño y la operación de estos sistemas. La valoración económica de los activos financieros es una de las principales formas de abordar las crecientes amenazas para el desarrollo sostenible y la protección del medio ambiente. En este trabajo se utiliza el hipotético Método CVM (método de valoración contingente), basado en la investigación mediante un cuestionario, cuyo objetivo es evaluar el valor del agua de riego en la llanura de la Municipalidad de Levadia, Beocia.
