Centros De Enseñanza Superiores Y Desarrollo Periférico En Grecia. Un Enfoque Experimental

Abstract

El presente trabajo se enfoca a la cuestión de la contribución de los Centros de Enseñanza Superiores (CES) al desarrollo económico de la periferia helénica. Más específicamente, examinamos el cambio porcentual del Producto Interno Bruto per cápita (PIBpc), el Valor Agregado Bruto (VAB) del comercio como también el VAB del sector de gestión de bienes inmobiliarios, de arrendamiento y de negocios (Real estate). Por último, señalemos que creamos tres grupos de Prefecturas para la realización del examen experimental, usando como criterios tanto la presencia de CES como su tamaño, en base al número de estudiantes. Resumiendo los resultados confirmamos que la presencia y el tamaño de los CES tienen un efecto estadísticamente significativo a la subida de los indices económicos, como el PIBpc y el VAB Real Estate.
