Relaciones De Productividad Entre Capital Público Y Privado

Abstract

La literatura empírica reciente muestra que el capital público afecta positivamente al crecimiento económico. Sin embargo, el debate continúa sobre cual es la magnitud de dicho efecto y sus valores en diferentes territorios. En este trabajo, se muestra, a través del uso de técnicas de datos de panel y dummies multiplicativas, que los niveles relativos de capital público por unidad de capital privado afectan a la efectividad del capital público sobre el crecimiento de la productividad, pues las inversiones de capital público son más efectivas en aquellas provincias con menores niveles relativos.
