Abstract

Ein Theorem von Myerson/Satterthwaite (1983) besagt, da▀ im bilateralen Handel zwischen einem (potentiellen) Verkõufer und einem (potentiellen) Kõufer anreizkompatible, effiziente und individuell rationale direkte Verhandlungsmechanismen nur dann existieren, wenn eine au▀enstehende Stelle den Handel subventioniert. Es wird ein Goves-Mechanismus eingef³hrt, der diese drei Anforderungen erf³llt und dar³ber hinaus die f³r die au▀enstehende Stelle geringsten (erwarteten) Kosten induziert. Aufgrund der Pathologien dieses Mechanismus' ist nur sehr bedingt von einer L÷sung des Problems zu sprechen; eine befriedigendere L÷sung kann jedoch nicht existieren. Dies gilt unabhõngig davon, ob man eine Bayessche Modellierung mit bekanntem oder auch subjektiven, nur dem entsprechenden Spieler bekannten Wahrscheinlichkeitseinschõtzungen wõhlt oder ob man die Situation als herk÷mmliches Spiel ohne die Involvierung von Wahrscheinlichkeitsschõtzungen beschreibt.
