Abstract

The aim of this study is to compare the trajectory of cross-kick technical movements of excellent taekwondo players in different weight classes and to investigate the relationship between weight class differences and the characteristics of cross-kick technical movements and the extent to which they affect the speed of movements. To this end, an artificial intelligence system is proposed for taekwondo field decision making, combining computer and applied mathematics knowledge. The angles, angular velocities, and moments of the joints of the lower limbs, as well as the movement time, displacement, and speed of the lower limbs, of the athletes in the three weight classes were significantly different (P
