Abstract

Fra il 1968 e il 1980, nel Nord America sono stati effettuati cinque esperimenti sul campo concernenti imposte sul reddito negative. Questo lavoro esamina la storia di questi cinque esperimenti, collocandoli nel contesto sociale e politico dell?epoca e considerandoli come un capitolo autonomo nella storia delle scienze sociali. Lo scritto esamina l?ambiente socio-politico del periodo ed osserva come tali esperimenti sono nati e sono diventati poi delle sfide per tali contesti stessi. Il saggio presenta inoltre alcuni risultati preliminari sui sistemi sanitari e sociali dell?esperimento canadese.
