Valutazione degli effetti economici, ambientali e territoriali di alcune filiere biomassa-energia presenti in Toscana

Abstract

Il presente contributo esamina alcune filiere foresta-legno-energia presenti in Toscana. Lo studio ? diretto a valutare l?effettiva efficienza economica della tecnologia, la sostenibilit? economica di lungo periodo della filiera, gli effetti sociali indotti sulle imprese e sulla comunit? e gli effetti ambientali determinati da queste nuove tecnologie, nonch? eventuali problematiche gestionali e organizzative rilevate dai vari attori coinvolti nella filiera (proprietari boschivi, imprese di utilizzazione forestale, gestori degli impianti energetici, utenti finali). Le esperienze illustrate nel presente contributo, sono il risultato di due anni di attivit? di monitoraggio, realizzate nell?ambito del progetto transfrontaliero BIOMASS. I risultati rappresentano un utile strumento di supporto per la progettazione della filiera e degli impianti, in termini di logistica, infrastrutture e di valutazione degli effetti socioeconomici sulle comunit? e sulle imprese locali.
